My beautiful sister, Danielle Corrie - is discussing her published book “Teida’s Story - Life through the eyes of a dog.”
Dani was bullied at school and told by her teachers that she could not do her chosen subjects “because she wasn’t good enough.” While she as excelled at spelling and gramma she failed comprehension and essay writing. She suffered anxiety and was incredibly shy. It took her 8 years to write Teida’s Story.
Her book “Teida’s Story - Life through the eyes of a dog” is a testament to her resilience and her determination. This story is part of Dani’s story through her dog Teida’s eyes.
Above and beyond writing a book, Dani is giving a PUBLIC TALK about her book at at Lionel Bowen Library on SATURDAY 27 APRIL 1:30pm.
I write it like this because public speaking was something that Dani was unable to do many years ago. I am so PROUD OF HER.
If you are around on SATURDAY 27 APRIL please do drop in and show your support.
It’s a FREE TALK.
If you would like to ask Dani to give an Authors talk, or an Inspirational Talk about how she overcame her challenges of being bullied, being degraded, about her grief and loss and phobias, or to ask her to share her story in your area or via your own pathways, please feel free to email her at teidasstory@gmail.com.
