So beautiful, Sam, thank you for this! I love so much that you're entering Autumn as I'm entering Spring. I imagine us meeting up at the entrance of the cave of winter...you preparing to head in as I prepare to head out. We eat together and tell each other stories of our experiences. We know that this is our special shared place where will we reunite twice a year. ♥️♥️♥️ I also love that you mentioned balance. I think of the equinoxes as the center of the lemniscate, that point of perfect balance.
Oh Jenna! This is such a special image...us meeting at Winter and sharing our stories, our sacred deep stories as we share food and the sacred winter fire ... oh how divine.
The centre of the lemniscate, that perfect balance...ahh yes! When I read this I also thought of the viscus piscis at Glastonbury and the sense of balance and power at that sacred place...
Thank you for your words and for the images that they gave me. xxx
I love your prompt about balance Sam and how it fits perfectly with Julie’s post. There are so many pulls on our attention that these reminders to come into stillness and question where we’re at are very timely. I always find myself pausing and reflecting when I read your posts and I’m so grateful for that. x
Thank you so much Louise. Thank you for pausing with me and reflecting with me. Thank you for taking the time to be with me. May you find balance in your heart and soul, and may your days ahead be blessed in gentle beautiful ways. x
I loved reading your post Sam. This autumnal draw to move inward. I feel it pulling on my quiet, inside, hibernation space of winter asking me to stay a little longer. Looks like the weather might comply. March is such a transition month. Teasing me with warmth of spring, then sending me right back into winter. More inward time. And I feel it today.
Loved the consideration on balance and gratitude. For me I would say I need more time outside. Thankful more opportunities for that are close. And thanks for the mention in your post, honored to be part of it! Much love to you Sam!
Oh Julie, you are welcome! It felt important to share your post, while I am here on this hemisphere, I do have many friends who are in the Northern hemisphere...it felt important to offer them something to read, something to ponder, something to let their heart and soul reflect upon. Your words are powerful.
Thank you for stopping and reflecting with me here in the Southern Hemisphere. I so appreciate your kindness and support.
