I do all of these... and... working in the garden helps too.

Putting on soft music and gently dancing to it.

Sitting in the dark with candles lit.

Creating mandalas.

Standing in front of my altar and doing something I call truth speak. Which is speaking out loud, slowly and with intention what is moving in me.

Thanks Sam - just writing this calmed my nervous system, which is saying something cause I just found out minutes ago Trump won the election.

Your ways to calm your nervous system are simiar to mine Sam, especially going out in nature and reading a book. As I can hear your voice saying them, it's added an extra layer of calm. Thank you x
