Hello Beautiful Tree,
grounded so strongly
in the arms of Mother Earth ⠀⠀⠀

Thank you for reminding me to do the same -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
to place my feet upon the earth⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
to reach my arms up into the sky⠀
to breathe deeply your nourishing air;

Thank you for reminding me ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
that I can be nurtured in the embrace of your shelter
that I can be held in the strength of your boughs
that I can be supported by the depth of your roots.

Thank you for reminding me
that something so delicate as newly laid eggs
can be held safely and securely in your branches and leaves,

may I too allow my fragility
and my strength to be nurtured and held

as I rest,

and

as I grow.

when life becomes too much
sometimes I need a reminder,
to see something more
something else…

Thank you for holding me and sheltering me when I need it most.
Thank you for reminding me to be kind and gentle to myself,
Thank you for showing me that if I ever need to feel safe and secure in my fragility your branches will hold me until I can feel strong once again.
