Wow, this was the most beautiful moments of my morning. Thank you! 💖🤗 About a year ago, I was in conversation with a friend on the idea of endings. I said that I feel okay about endings as long as I can be ready for them. She asked me then, "How do you know when you're ready?" It's a question I contemplated deeply and never fully arrived at an answer. Words like willingness and poise played in my mind (and heart). Your post here has called me to revisit these ideas. How DO we know when we are ready?

Oh wow! Firstly I am honoured that this created the beautiful moment in your morning. Jenna, that made my heart burst. Bless you 💖

Secondly, I love your question.. How DO we know when we are ready? For me it is like a little voice inside of me stands tall and says, "NOW, now we can go there!" I use the word voice, yet sometimes it is more of a feeling or a sense. Sometimes it's a dream or a word that someone said, sometimes it is a walk in the garage and at that moment in time I can "go there." Sometimes it s a word or phrase from a conversation or an article...

What about you Jenna, how do you know when you are ready? (Ohhh, I love this conversation!!!)

I love all that you've shared here Sam and what comes to mind is that we don't have to do it alone. We can go hand in hand with trusted guide to uncover those lost dark places. We can even laugh when we walk into the cobweb or trip over the worn down step. Because it doesn't have to be frightening we only expect it to be. With someone by our side we can face it all so much easier. xx

YES! YES! YES!!!! And are we ever truly alone really?! Mother Nature, our guides...we have a entourage of divine helpers who are just there, willing to help us.

And humour! Louise that is such an important part of living isn't is...to laugh, to smile, to rejoice, to see the humour in our day to day actions. And yet sometimes we don't do we. Sometimes it is easier to be cranky and grumpy and bothersome. Oh to smile and to laugh.

Thank you for this lovely response to my piece. 🌸

Loved all this! Playing with your share Sam...Yes the journey, whether it be inner or outer does invite me to move with change, to “acclimatise”! (Loved that.) At times the journey is warm and fuzzy, easy to shift into, go with the flow. Other times it requires something I don't want to give. I have to meet something in myself that is hidden deep in the reserves. Behind the corner, under the dust and spider webs. Yet I have found, just as you beautifully wrote here Sam, is that I need to brush the dirt and grit away, clean it up, make it more inviting. Then I can explore, learn and change. Take that new route that I have been invited into.

Oh Julie, I love that you played with how my words resonated with you. Yes, the journey can be at times warm and fuzzy and at other times oh so UNcomfortable.

What are some of your own sacred tools that help you move "the dirt and grit so you can take the new route?" 🙏

"Do we cross that threshold

that doorway

that secret place that is sometimes there and sometimes not?" this question stirred something deep in me I'm not sure how yet to put words to. Thank you Sam 💖

Oh Elizabeth! That is so beautiful! Did you listen to the voice over or did you read my words? I ask because I've only just begun using voice over and I wonder what that is like for folks...

Thank you for spending time with me. 💖
