Ohhh, I am truly feeling the wintry weather from your post! Your words, the pictures (did you take these?) all bringing that sense of winter to life! I even got a chill. Or... maybe that is the coolness of the morning here. I live close enough to the coast for the night to cool down after a hot day. Yet later today it will be hot! Which is great for the tomatoes in the garden! But I will get my walk in this morning for sure!
Yes, I took these photos. I felt these photos really captured what I wanted to write. It's cold here, chilly, cosy, snug up tight. We have had really big storms so the wildness is so empowering and uplifting. I know folk don't like wild weather. For me it makes me feel alive. Alive, and at the same time I am going inward for winter. We are camping next week...Ill take more photos then...winter camping is special too.
Ahh winter, it invites a different part of me to emerge.
May your tomatoes grow abundantly in the sunshine and may your morning walks gift you with magic.
Sending love and hugs to you my beautiful friend. xxx
This made me smile Sam as if there is one thing we associate with Australia its heat! So interesting to witness this other blustery side. Here in the UK it has been hot, hot, hot until today when there was clouds and rain and it felt lovely. I think my favourite season is summer because my energy seems to come alive, until it gets too hot..............x
And I perceive England as cold and overcast...until I went in Summer and saw how the sunshine gifts your landscape with such beauty.
Yes, the heat can be oppressive and too much at times. May the aliveness you feel in summer bless you in wondrous ways.
Thank you for sharing what your favourite season is. I find Summer too hot. I fall down in Summer. Heat stroke and the like. It's funny I live in one of the hottest and driest countries in the world, I have Lebanese blood (plus Celtic - English, Irish blood) and it is the cooler weather that soothes me more. As you said, Australia is hot.
Blessings to you on this sunny winter day. May you have a lovely week ahead. And maybe another cuppa too? I really enjoyed our last catchup. Much love x
Oh it can be very cold and overcast! There is something lovely like you say when the sun does shine though, it makes it all the more special like you say. I know that the heat there can be a lot to withstand, so I don't blame you for seeking the coolness. I woud very much like to catch up again. xx
