Dearest friend,
How are you this week?
I have yet to be able to write to you on a weekly basis -
I have been tending to family
And I been trying to tend to myself.
Maybe you too have had weeks like this…
where you have been tending to others
and in that you have realised that it is very wise to tend to yourself too…
and maybe you have done so successfully,
and or maybe only with slow and small steps.
Me…I put others first…I have always done so…this week my darling partner encouraged me to take a day and just read. I am reading Juliet Marillier - Wolfskin. I am a fan of Juliet Marillier…she weaves Druidic lore with historical fiction and fantasy. Her books are a page turner and are books that you can read over and over again…Yep! She is my favourite author.
What have you done this week to nurture yourself?
Have you read any good books of late? What is your favourite genre?
What steps are you taking to self care?
This meditation tonight invites you to remember that there is always something inside of you that is beautiful and wholesome,
growing and abundant.
Sometimes in life we only remember the hard times,
the stressful times,
the times when we feel we are so empty that the land within us is bare and barren
This meditation invites you to pick from your inner garden
and taste your harvest
This meditation invites you to remember the fruits of wisdom and insight
blessing and healing
What can you harvest now?
What can you harvest that can help you in times of worries and fears?
What can you harvest that you grew and nurtured and maybe forgot,
and now when you look at it, it holds the greatest medicine of all?
In honour of the times when you have forgotten the beautiful harvest you have grown.
Until next week,
Blessed be.
