thank you, thank you, thank you

This is a wonderful conclusion, Sam. I particularly loved this bit: "So then, we realise we have no other choice other than to listen." For me, the times this happens to me made certain things clearer and simpler. Not to mention the necessary ego-check. :)

Thank you Thalia for spending some time with me, and also for sharing your wisdom around what listening means to you.

I look forward to sharing more cups of tea with you in the future.

I am delighted to accept the invitation Sam. It is truly my sacred sanctuary to come here each week and be enveloped in your kindness. Where I find deep meaning, connection and the sacred pause to be able to listen to my heart. I will always enjoy a traditional breakfast tea the most, but also herbal teas, rose, chamomile and green tea. Hmmm, I probably don't dance enough, but I sometimes will when a good song is playing. x

Oh this is very exciting...I look forward to putting the kettle on, Louise, and ensuring that a good breakfast tea is brewing.

This is a lovely group that is gathering. This makes my heart soar. x

Did you make that bread? It looks so delicious and inviting. I can almost smell it and taste it. So joining you as well for some tea. I love teas, and am more a tea person than coffee. My main tea of choice is Yerba Mate. But I have a comforting tea every night which is made with chamomile, elder flower, oat straw and lavender. In the summer I like to make tea from the herbs in my garden.

Love your questions Sam! Dancing. I love to dance. I dance almost every day. It is part of my morning ritual. I wake up early, it is still dark. I light the candles on my altar, put some music on and let my body feel its way through the music. It's a spiritual practice for me. As for smiling, I made a spontaneous joke/comment yesterday with a friend that had us both belly laughing, rolling on the floor. Inspiration....hmm...I would say my dream about sea turtles. Which ironically I just talked about in the comment to you on my post. Et tu? (And you) I guess I had to speak some french.

Yes, I did make the bread. I will put the kettle on for you, and preheat the pot, for I would love that opportunity to share tea with you.

Today I danced some more... I too like to dance in the morning. The music though is just in my mind, it is flows and flows and my body moves as it is meant to. I resonate with what you wrote... it is a spiritual practice that prepares my whole energy for the day, and even for the night if I do it before I sleep.

Something inspiring...I had a dream last night in which I had a deep healing (a reflection of your recent post and Louise's one) and while I felt deeply sick through out it, I woke feeling refreshed, alive and free of something big. That is inspiring!

I am reheating the kettle...what flavours would you like now?

I would LOVE to have tea with you on Wednesdays! 🤗 What inspired me today was the book I'm reading called "In the Dark Places of Wisdom" by Peter Kingsley. It lights me up with so many ideas! What made me smile was a phone call from my son. And the last time I danced was this morning in the shower (maybe not the safest thing to do, but when the spirit moves you gotta boogie). What about you, friend?

I will always have the the kettle on for you my friend! I too had a dance today...mine was in the kitchen just before breakfast. It was light and fun and oh so freeing. Those spontaneous dances are great, aren't they?! It is as though somewhere a special musical note is being played just for you/me/us and well, how can we be still? Our body hears it and responds, and oh how wonderful it is.

I have never heard your book. The title in itself is very captivating...I will look it up.

What made me smile was the story "Boy: A story of childhood" by Roald Dahl. As a family we have a special ritual where we, as parents read out loud to the boys. I am reading the above book and the chapter I just read had us all in stitches. Road Dahl is a brilliantly funny children's author.

As I write this I am drinking a green tea with lemon and honey. What tea are you drinking?
