Let us together create a Soft Simple Still world
for our heart, our soul and for the 7th Generation to come.
She travels alone.
Alone along the road of life,
where people come
and people go.
Where people share interests
and people share differences.
Where friendships are formed
and relationships made.
She travels alone.
Alone along the road of life
where she meets
and connects,
where she discovers
and finds,
sometimes friendships
sometimes relationships.
*
She travels alone.
Alone along the road of life
she experiences adventures
she experiences love
she experiences loss .
She travels alone
alone along the raod of life,
And somewhere in her travels
she finds that space,
where her heart can stop trying
and her mind can stop racing,
where her words
can be free
and her energy
can be true…
*
Once she traveled alone.
Alone along this road of life,
and then
she found
her place.
For so long we run.
We hide.
We get distracted.
We fall.
We achieve.
We climb higher and higher.
We dig deeper and deeper.
We run away.
We fall prey to a life that isn't ours.
And we do
and do
and do...
and then somewhere in the mist of all of that chaos we decide to stop doing...
and we listen...
and usually - not always - the listening comes because the little voice in our heart yells so loudly that we fall
fall hard.
Dis-ease,
illness,
pain
addictions
they are just some of they ways we fall.
So then, we realise we have no other choice
other than to listen…
TO LISTEN TO OUR HEART.
Soft. Simple Still has been created for you to do just that,
to PAUSE and LISTEN to the depth of something deeper,
to the depth of something sacred
to the depth of something profoundly real
- YOUR HEART
I recently wrote about each of those words
And why they are important words for me, and maybe you too.
My friend, I am passionate about helping folk like you LISTEN, FEEL, LOVE and BECOME who you are meant to be, by accessing the ancient wisdom that lives deep within your own inner landscape, so that YOU become your own Wise One, Medicine Person, Shaman and Healer,
And when you do that,
you come home
HOME
TO YOUR HEART.
As you have just read, my writings are poetic in nature.
They create a story, and imagery
they are a sacred journey for you to travel to, and enter into.
For me that is the best way to convey what I have to offer.
Storytelling is important.
It takes us from the here and now and takes us to that magical place of depth,
of vision,
of imagination.
I write to heal.
I write so you can share.
I write so that a community can be created.
I am a self confessed tea-a-holic, and a lover of nature, particularly the ocean.
Let us imagine that you are sitting here at my kitchen table, and you are sharing a cuppa with me, maybe you would like some homemade bread too?
Look outside my window my dear friend.
There are a lot of plants in front of your vision,
and beyond that,
is the ocean.
Come join me here and share a cuppa or three.
Every Wednesday I will put the kettle - Wholesome Wednesday.
Every Sunday - Soft Sunday - I will send out my podcast - Meditations with Sam.
Once a month you can join Tea time with Sam.
I like Wednesdays. It is the middle of the week where the beginning of the week and all its bits and bobs have come and gone, and the end of the week is yet to come.
I will call it Wholesome Wednesday.
I will write to you on (most!) Wednesdays and offer you soft words of mindful ways of being in your inner and outer world,
soft words of stillness and healing,
soft words of nature connection and meditations.
I would love you to share a cuppa with me on Wednesdays.
I like Sunday’s as well.
It is the lazy day of the week where long breakfasts are eaten at my Dad’s and chats linger long and beautiful with family members. On this day I will upload a new meditation for you to listen to. To enable your Sunday to be long and beautiful, held and soft. Here is a meditation for you to try
When you join me for tea
you will get an invitation to pause in your daily life
you will get the opportunity to share a meditation or mindful thought or a healing process with me
you will get the opportunity to walk softer upon the earth, to slow down and deeply breathe out
will get the opportunity to heal - yourself, your lineage and the earth
you will also get the opportunity to be part of my online community
and finally, you will get the opportunity to help me shine my light further afield by commenting and sharing.
Here are what some people say about my writings:
“Sam's poetic writing is a mediation with nature and life. A refreshing breath of fresh air.” -
“This is an beautiful invitation to explore your inner knowing through words, ritual and ceremony. To pause and take sanctuary in a place where you can breathe, connect and allow the healing energy to wash over you.”
“I supported your work because I believe attending to our heart is essential and the more people who embark on this journey, the greater the healing and well being for everyone.” - Dimitrios
Thank you for joining me here
and for creating a gentler path for our future generation.

If you were really sitting at my kitchen table we would probably have some kind of conversation that would go something like this:
“What inspired you today? What made your heart smile? And when was the last time you danced?”
My dear friend, please introduce yourself and share…
What inspired you today?
What made you smile?
When was the last time you danced?
Or maybe just share your substack URL and what it is about…or simply if you like tea and cake or coffee and scones?
Ps/ You can also contact me personally on sam@samanthacorrie.com.au or you can pour yourself a cuppa and browse my website here.
I am delighted to accept the invitation Sam. It is truly my sacred sanctuary to come here each week and be enveloped in your kindness. Where I find deep meaning, connection and the sacred pause to be able to listen to my heart. I will always enjoy a traditional breakfast tea the most, but also herbal teas, rose, chamomile and green tea. Hmmm, I probably don't dance enough, but I sometimes will when a good song is playing. x
I would LOVE to have tea with you on Wednesdays! 🤗 What inspired me today was the book I'm reading called "In the Dark Places of Wisdom" by Peter Kingsley. It lights me up with so many ideas! What made me smile was a phone call from my son. And the last time I danced was this morning in the shower (maybe not the safest thing to do, but when the spirit moves you gotta boogie). What about you, friend?
