Sam this was wonderful, thank you! I am allowing time to stretch around me, to soften and be gentle with me. Walking with you, by the ocean, reminded me of the importance of opening up to my space. Ha! I think you will know what I mean by that even though it doesn’t make logical sense.

Oh Bless you! I am so glad that your space is opening within you and around you. That is a lovely description.

The ocean definitely does that for me. Also, I find that Stillness does that - it enables things to soften, stretch and become what our heart and soul really need at that moment in Time, and thus Time stretches and softens and becomes more gentle (as do we too!).

Thank you Donna for walking with me, where the ocean meets the shore.

This was really beautiful to read and evision Sam. I wanted to answer your prompt "how do you “slow down time” in your own life?" and the answers that comes is that I perceive time as slow and when I perceive time as slow, I naturally move slow. Thank you for the invitation for reflection. 💖

Oh Emma! Thank you for taking the time to firstly read my post, and then to ponder deeply the questions. I really value what you wrote: "To perceive time as slow, and then you naturally move slow." This is such wisdom. Such deep wisdom. Alchemical wisdom. Earth wisdom. Magical Wisdom. Thank you.

This is so beautiful Sam and made even more special by being able to imagine you speaking these words after our meeting this week. My body and soul let me know that this is exactly what I needed right now and to slow down and appreciate exactly where I am in this moment. Thank you so much for this precious gift and I very much look forward to more still moments. 💫🙏

So beautiful, Sam! Thank you for taking me to the ocean with you. It reminds me of two things...one is the idea of an ecotone, a place where two biological communities meet, like a shoreline. I like to think of bodies (including human bodies) as ecotones too. Every cell within us is an ocean meeting another ocean. And we are teeming with microbes. So, my biological community is always meeting the biological community of everything I come into contact with. The second thing is that I once asked Water to tell me about the cycle of time and the answer I got was that Time is the perpetual return to Source. I just loved that and have never looked at Time the same way since.

Oh Jenna! I have never heard of the word ecotone before. I have just looked it up "A transition area where two biological communities meet" A new word for me today, AND a wonderful image of the Thresholds being Ecotones. Such a beautiful imagery.

Thank you also for sharing your message about Time..That it is "the perpetual return to Source"...Such a powerful message. I read that a couple of times and it totally stilled me. mmmm...a lovely way to connect to the deeper essence of Time.

Thank you Jenna.

Ohhh I loved this Sam. I felt right there with you at the ocean. I actually crave the ocean. It is a roughly an hour and half drive from my home. A must go, as often as I can. These thresholds you shared here in your writing are so palpable in my being. I feel the liminal at the ocean. It teaches me to see the liminal in the other areas of my life that are not physical. The blending, as the colors in the sky. Edges touching as the waves and the shore. Interactions as the pelicans dive into the sea.

Oh, YES! YES! YES! I too can so relate... A must go to place. A place that teaches so much, and heals so much, and offers so much...a timeless space of constant change, and yet in that change there is a deep sense of stability for me, and hope.

I love what you wrote about it teaching you about other liminal places in your life. I am smiling because I resonate to much.

Yes, the ocean is such a magical place.
